The birth of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour was marked by the construction and inauguration of Hotel Indonesia which was carried out by the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Soekarno on 5 August 1962, as Indonesia's first star hotel, and was a "landmark" and "the face of Indonesia". As part of the journey and struggle of the nation and state, Hotel Indonesia was built to welcome modernism while maintaining traditions through collaboration with various national and international elements, until then the motto "Show Indonesian Personality" was proclaimed and the slogan "Dramatic Symbol of Free Nations Working Together".
During its development, a merger of two state-owned hotel management companies was implemented; between Hotel Indonesia International, which owns hotels such as Hotel Indonesia, Hotel Ambarukmo, Samudera Beach, Grand Bali, Putri Bali and several other hotels, and PT Natour, which manages hotels, nationalized Dutch assets, becoming PT Hotel Indonesia Natour. In line with the development being carried out, PT Hotel Indonesia Natour has a network of 14 hotels in various cities in Java, Bali and Sumatra.
2020 is a new milestone and milestone in the journey of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour. In line with the transformation program to consolidate the BUMN hotel business and make BUMN a global player that plays an active role in supporting the development of the national tourism industry and the economy in general, PT Hotel Indonesia Natour developed the subsidiary "PT Hotel Indonesia Group" and became part of the holding "PT Aviasi Indonesian Tourism (Persero)/Injourney which is the Indonesian tourism ecosystem.
As it develops, Hotel Indonesia Natour expands its portfolio by transforming into travel management business lines, hotel operatorship, Special Economic Zone (KEK) management to realize its vision and mission in introducing Indonesian tourism and hospitality to the international world.
HIN's 61st anniversary was commemorated with a series of activities with the theme "Elevating Potential, Empowering Growth" with various interesting Road To HIN 61st Anniversary activities including Bersi"HIN" Grha Inna with tree planting and community service activities, as well as the impromptu BatHINton & TenHINis activities The table was opened by the President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, Christine Hutabarat on August 4 2023.
