What you'll do

It would be a shame to miss the endless beauty of the Pulau Dewata. Here are 4 destinations you must visit while vacationing in Bali.

Your itinerary

1. Explore the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue
The journey begins with a visit to Garuda Wisnu Kencana. The nearest statues to visit are the Body of Lord Vishnu Statue, followed by the Body of Garuda Statue. Nearby, you'll find an unmissable photo spot: two cliffs on either side with a pathway in between, and the majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue as the background. From this photo spot, we take a short walk to the main statue, Garuda Wisnu Kencana, depicting Lord Vishnu riding Garuda. In Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu is the protector of the universe, while his loyal companion, the brave Garuda, symbolizes loyalty and selfless devotion. "Kencana" means gold, which also adorns Lord Vishnu's crown. Garuda is also Indonesia's national symbol, representing freedom. Designed by famous Balinese artist Nyoman Nuarta, the statue is made of copper and bronze, comprising 754 modules with 25 steel segments, weighing 900 tons, with the steel weighing 1,300 tons. Due to Garuda's wingspan, the statue and its pedestal reach a height of 120.9 meters and a width of 64 meters.

2. Watersport Tanjung Benoa
After enjoying the grandeur of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue, we will head to Tanjung Benoa, a destination famous for its water sports and activities. Here, you can experience underwater activities such as diving, snorkeling, and ocean walking; water surface activities like banana boat rides, jet skiing, and donut boats; and aerial activities such as parasailing and flyboarding. Get ready to try various types of water sports and activities that will undoubtedly provide an unforgettable experience!
3. Pura Uluwatu
After an exciting time with water activities, our next journey takes us to Pura Uluwatu, about 60 minutes away. Here, you can visit Pura Uluwatu and watch the Kecak dance performance. Before entering Pura Uluwatu, you will be required to wear a purple kamen/sarong for women/men with shorts and an orange senteng/waistband for women/men with long skirts/pants. Pura Uluwatu is a temple located at the southernmost tip of Bali, built on the edge (ulu) of a 70-meter-high rocky cliff (watu) facing the sea with views of the Indian Ocean. The Kecak dance performance starts at 18:00, but ticket sales open at 17:00. After getting the tickets, we head to the performance area and sit on the top stairs facing the sun for the best sunset spot.
4. Jimbaran Seafood
After enjoying the mesmerizing Kecak dance performance, it's time to fill your stomach with delicious seafood dishes at Jimbaran Beach. There are dozens of restaurants offering seafood dishes served with beautiful beach views, accompanied by the cool evening sea breeze. Some of the dishes you can enjoy include Balinese-spiced fish soup, grilled fish, squid satay, sweet and sour crab, and grilled lobster. These dishes can be enjoyed in a romantic beach setting, complete with dim lights illuminating your dining table on the beach.
