Your itinerary

1. Batu Gantung Tour
To enjoy this tourist destination, we will take a tour by boat or speedboat to Batu Gantung. As we cruise along the lake, we can take photos with the backdrop of Lake Toba and the spectacular green hills. Arriving at Batu Gantung, here we can see up close a rock formation resembling a human figure plunging from the top cliff. Batu Gantung itself comes from a history or legend about a girl named Seruni who refused an arranged marriage by her parents and decided to jump from the cliff. However, when she leaped, her hair caught on a tree branch on the cliff wall, leaving her hanging and turning into a hanging rock.

2. The Kaldera Toba Nomadic Escape
Next, we visit The Kaldera, located about 30 minutes from Parapat City. This place is in Ajibata District, Toba Regency, and has become viral in the Lake Toba area since President Joko Widodo visited. Facilities offered here include aesthetic and Instagrammable photo spots, a coffee shop, local SME shops, and unique accommodations such as Glamping Tents, Bubble Tents, and Cabins. This place is also one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset.

3. Rumah Pesanggrahan Bung Karno
The next destination is the Rumah Pesanggrahan Bung Karno, reached by driving through roads with stunning views of Lake Toba. The journey provides a breathtaking sensation with its charming scenery. Upon arrival, we will see a historical building that was once the residence of Bung Karno. This house was originally built by the Dutch in 1820 on the shores of Lake Toba and features European-style architecture, making it a unique attraction for history enthusiasts.

4. Monkey Forest Sibaganding
Lastly, we will head to Monkey Forest Sibaganding. There are various activities we can do here, such as observing various types of monkeys (long-tailed macaques, gibbons, and siamangs) and feeding them. Upon arrival, we will be enchanted by the pristine atmosphere of the protected forest with its fresh air. There is a caretaker here who calls a group of monkeys by blowing a horn made from a buffalo horn. Visitors will gain experience and education about wildlife conservation during their visit.
